Cultural and Social Programs to Benefit the People of Wolong

Preservation (including archaeological field studies) of Wolong's remaining sacred sites and historical temples is one way to respect and maintain the rich indigenous culture of the region.

Volunteers can help organize artisan and cultural workshops. An example might include a studio for thangka and Chinese landscape painting, calligraphy, and the fabrication of traditional instruments of the region such as drums and "singing bowls".
